Twice-retired Ohioan—first from a 36 year career in education and second from six years in the Ohio House of Representatives—Bruce W. Goodwin finally did what he said he would do as a young English major years ago. He wrote a novel and got it published.
Four Pistols, Goodwin’s debut novel, follows the adventures of three now-retired buddies who take on a small job researching and buying collectible firearms. The more they discover, the more concerned the friends become about their client and his potential role in the JFK assassination. The book is partially set in both the past and the present, taking the characters and the reader on a journey that includes Defiance, Ohio; Washington, DC; Deadwood, SD; and even Buffalo, Wyoming.
Four Pistols has been described as a “tightly woven suspense tale with a fair dose of humor thrown in.” Many readers are left wondering, “How much of the story is real?”
Four Pistols is published by We Authors llc, a small publishing company in Tipp City, Ohio, dedicated to helping new authors get their books published and into the hands of readers everywhere.
